Megan Thee Stallions prime doc: My thoughts

writing this free hand as i've only just recently finished the documentary, and i really had some thoughts on it that id like to type openly and about the situation in 2020 with convicted felon Tory Lanez. These are fresh thoughts so there may be a p2 at a latter date but i just wanted to get my fresh initial thoughts on it down.
first i wanna say that this new documentary from Megan was really personal and emotional and tells a lot of new information and context that we hadn't known before, however my opinion has never changed and just because we've seen this added context and rawness i still have and will support her as an artist and a person who lives on this planet, what she went through was horrific and we as a society should have to see her upset to know that.
Through out the show there were smoky purple fonts explaining the time line that i really liked, i think that this really gives a clear picture of the whole documentary, this also makes it good for young people and children to digest, i do personally think her story should be told in a versatile way as its important and could help many women and girls. The beautiful and detailed animation also backs this idea and really gives empathy to a situation that we as the viewer never got to see, its a way of telling the story more clearly like a film, rather than someone simply sat talking, its an extra sprinkle of fun and shows Megs personality well, i think this section will also be a really good way for younger people to digest the information.I also think the set up of the yearly timeline was a fantastic way to do it, an example of a section where this really worked was when the producers were presented Megan's best friend Kelsey to the audience, she was show after the part when Megan's mum had died, portrayed to be a close friend who was there for her after her mother had died and sort of took her place, in addition they had clips from that point in time to really give it that emotional value, come to find out the following year she would witness Megan's shooting and secretly meet with the shooter and decide not to testify agents Megan over a random petty thing that had nothing to do with the shooting. It really worked to set us in the mind of Megan and her perspective in this whole timeline.
another point unrelated to the production was the post shooting and how all of her peers had treated her, there is a simple yet powerful line where she says "everyone hates me" while lying on her bed tired from the day, such a strong thing to say so nonchalantly, however its understandable why.The lies people told were also just insane to witness and it really did a good job of showing things that nobody talked about.
like how Tory Lanez harassed her after she came out about it, both on social media and privately to her, depicting killing and chopping up body parts clearly indicating its about her, saying he sees her performing to freak her out, out wright saying that she lied about getting shot and getting many other people to agree with him.
you should read my blog on the shooting its self if your lost with what happend.
