My MEGAN predictions...

Since Megan Thee Stallions new album is being released on the 28th of June, I thought i would give some predictions on what the album may be like or what statements or thoughts it may contain. I wanted to do this because I actually really like Megan and respect her as an artist, especially feeling more connected to her music in recent years, and I bet she doesn't need or want any sort of pity but, it's been devastating seeing her story in recent time, however her unwavering success almost punches the devastation right in the mouth.

As of now we have received the whole track list for her new album which does includes 5 features, earlier this year we also got 3 singles that will be on the album, additionally we have the cover and can infer the concept.

Abruptly we can see that a main theme will be about snakes.7 months ago Megan realist cobra which showed her state of mind at the time, it's important to note that a cobra is a highly venomous animal which may allude to the fact that Megan will be infecting people with her venom and or has been infected with someone else's venom, i think we can expect this anger with what has happened and how she's feeling throughout the album.

It's important to note that in 2020 after a pool party Megan Thee Stallion was in fact shot by one of her friends, the feelings that she expressed in this time about the incident was a vast feeling of betrayal not only from the man who shot her but her friends that did not stick by her or support her in this time, one can only assume they were scared to speak out or being fed misinformation about her story. As a spectator and someone not involved in this incident i can't begin to feeling what she would have been feeling in this moment. It seems although more recently she's been really processing it more. Her lyrics infer loneliness and an untrusting nature.

Although this topic did come up on her last album 'Traumazine' i think the topic will come up again in this new project, I think shell deep dive more in to the nature of what happened instead of how she feels Ike in the last album. Maybe Megan will feel more confident in speaking up about it more directly in her music, an indication of this is with her single 'HISS' that came out 4 months ago, she's more open with taking shots at people, including the man who shot her and others in the situation, such as Drake, who made light of the incident in one of his songs after, stating "she lied about getting shot but she still a stallion"

In HISS she dissed Drake and who shed only ever loved before this. Thats why I believe the topic will come up again however in a different angle.

This may be obtuse to think but with the name title i think it could be all about Megan, her. Seems obvious, but my last theory was more about what has happened around her, but instead it I think it may also be just a reflection of her current state, what she's currently doing or has done, many of the track titles elude to not exactly loneliness but individualism, they don't refer to any physical object, person or incident, mostly verbs.

Another prediction also seems obvious however i think people will be and are angry over or at least disappointed. See Megan recently become independent, breaking away from a few 'iffy' contracts, with this and her two tracks that are different from anything she has created, i believe people will want a fresh start, what I'm inferring is that people want something more serious away from the sexual bragadoutiouse rap that she's known for, however i don't think this will happen, i do although believe that it will be less, because as a listener you can't just expect someone to stop rapping about things they like to rap about.

An often-critiqued part of woman's rap is the sexual bragadoutiouse" fuck the haters" approach, however this could also just be a sexist projection on to female musicians.

I'd also like to comment on the whole snake concept because it's a common theme in big celebrities these days and i think up to now Megan is doing it perfectly. She went through a desperately hard year, with being attacked, her parents dyeing as well as have a serious home invasion and her gross boyfriend cheating on her. It feels like she can't catch a break and that as of these incidents she has no chose but to change and "shed" her skin, much like a snake would do. I believe it's also a node to a similar situation that happened with Taylor Swift.

Briefly talking the story, in 2016 Kanye West realist a song called 'famous' a beautiful song that featured Rihanna, however in intro to the track was as followed "for all my south side boys that know me best, i feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, why? I made that bitch famous"

After this had come out Taylor was receiving a Grammy and in her commemoration speech she in short told the audience that you shouldn't let anyone take credit for your success, and people supported her with what she said obviously knowing she was referencing Kanye West.

The story really takes a turn when Kim Kardashian released a video where Kanye was actually on the phone to Taylor Swift in which he asked her if he could put the lyric in his song about her "i think me and Taylor might still have sex" which is the line that he said, on the recording its abrupt to me that Taylor says yes because she feel uncomfortable, she even made a comment asking what Kim's opinion was of the line, none did he ask about the line "i made that bitch famous"

However, people at the time did not see this, all people saw was that Taylor swift wanted to make Kanye look bad and that she was a snake, snake was trending on twitter and Taylor actually ended up going in to hiding as of the drastic cancellation. I know this is quite an explanation but I'm getting there.

After Taylor came out of hiding, she realest reputation which is what i think this new album of Megan's is going to be like, it's her reputation era.

In closing i am really exiting for this new album and i hope that her independence and state of mind will go as well as it can.
