Yes, i know, this title may anger some individuals (mainly crazy barbs) however i think that this tsunami of praise for Megan Thee Stalin is so deserved after her recent album drop 'traumatized' and the likes of her new eps 'HISS' and 'COBRA' really highlight her state of mind and life, this change is a magnificent transition that all the great rappers go through; for example Nicki Minaj when she dropped 'Pink Friday' or when Kendrick Lamer released 'to pimp a butterfly'. I feel as if this is the transition that Megan is it right now, but on the contrary shes been working and releasing bangers since the quarantine COVID days.

so if your reading this and have no idea who Megan is, i am here to introduce her for you (because i feel at this point you need to know) Megan Thee Stalin is a musical artist from Huston Texas, she has won 3 Grammy's all in one year, her music is vastly sexual and as of recently tapping in to a deeper depressive aspect of the artist. in 2019 Megan blew up on the hot 200 with her first official album 'fever' where she also coined the term 'hot girl summer' which is a WIDLY popular term now and people associate with her.

 however 2020 was Megan year, she released a brand new album which featured now hits but especially her song savage which turned in to a global dance trend and eventually got her a remix with Beyoncé, which earned her a well deserved grammy. At this time she has so many hot songs that repeated on the radio, tiktok and overall her art was everywhere.Later on she realized an album 'Good News' and was named one of the most influential people by time magazine.She joined Cardi B on multiple occasions on tracks, the most popular being 'WAP' which was the biggest song of 2020, coming with mass controversy over its explicit sexual lyrics and dance challenges that came after, an icon track from who icon powerful women, between articles, memes and news stories the best outrage to come out of 'WAP' was the Ben Shapiro video where he was dumbfounded by the song and video.

in this same year Megan Thee Stalin was at a party in LA at Kyle Jenner's house (obviously eye roll) and was leaving the party with her friends, when she lept out of a car and then was shot by another rapper Tory Lanez, whom has recently been sentenced for the incident.

this seemed to be a turning point in Megan's life and music, i mean as if getting shot by a 'friend' isn't traumatizing enough, she had the whole world making fun of her and attacking her, calling her a liar and spot light goblin, eventually after speculation of the incident with no talks of what happend by Megan, she decided to go on Gayle King and speak her truth about the event, many further made a mockery of her. Cutting deeper in to the wound (figuratively ofcource) she had her peers, vastly popular artist and rappers, dissing her in their lyrics and mocking her to each other. Iggy Azalea was said to be on Tory Lanez side and actually helping him with the trail. Although shed been drakes biggest fan through out her life, he also doubled down and on a track with 21 savage said "This b**** lie 'bout getting shots, but she still a stallion/She don't even get the joke, but she still smiling," many fans were outraged at this comment, and felt embarrassed for Megan as there were her peers.

Nick Minaj

Just to introduce her, Nicki Minaj is one of the biggest rappers of all time and is widely regarded as the 'queen of rap' however shes known for always trying to bring up coming female artists down, she wants to be the only girl is the boys club and will do practically anything to prove that shes loyal to her male counter parts; even if that means associating with pedophiles, sex offenders and over all weird men. But in the summer of 2020 she joined Megan on her 'Hot girl Summer' track and was even featured in the music video.People finally though Nicki had a female alliance, however they was wrong, Nicki was said to constantly take jabs at Megan after the Tory Lanez incident and even spreading rumors about her before hand. Then on her new 'Pink Friday' Track she took more jabs at Megan. in her song 'FTCU' she said 'Stay in your Tory lane, Bitch i am not Iggy' which is obviously taking shots at Megan.

With this, incident and the trauma Megan had endured with her parents dying, being shot and nobody beveling or supporting her. That,s when in 2022 she released the 'Traumazine' Album which really gave people inside on her state of mind and what she was going though.However the real Tea came on her 2023 track Cobra which was seen as the more emotional version of 'HISS' (which wheel get in to later)

The 'COBRA' track was;deep,personal and sad. sending gose bumps down the listners spine, becuase really if you think about it, we as viewers can be so far removed on the life of a celebrity that the hardships they go though dont seem real, thats how were able to makes jokes about it. but this track almost connected the fans to the incident. here ill share some of the lyrics.

This line particular brings out empathy, its wild that she had to endure this alone, in the track she talks about being one, an alcoholic and wanting to harm and kill herself, even telling the listener where her body will be when or if she does. its emotional, its real and i think this is why people are holding her higher and really respecting her as one of the best, its horrid this is what it takes to takes a woman seriously.

Then is the track that took the internet by storm, the verminous version of cobra, the anger the shots and where the drama came from.

'HISS'

HISS is know as a diss track, and although its never explicitly said whom its about, we can use our brains to infer and some have come out to tell us who its about.The track throws shots at Nicki and her husband who is on the sex offender register, along with her brother who's also on that list.She talks about drake, Da baby and her obsessive boyfriends, its prevalent that women who aren't seen as 'girls girls' align them selves with deviant men like R Kelly (ew).

The song is confident, its her saying shes not gonna take bullying from people online or even her own peers in the rap game.

This track sent the internet in to a frenzy, they though it was amazing, however the crazy Nicki fans were not having it.

That's when Nicki Ninaj went in to a spiral, she jumped on twitter making fun of Megan and attempting to defend her husband, she took shots at Megan's dead mum and her shot gun wound, people believed this was a drug educed paddy that was going far and embarrassing, her fans and the general online space was turning on her and noticing her for her true colors. All the while Megan didn't say anything not in her track or even after, Nick was embarrassed.

in my opinion i think Kama is taking its course, Megan is going on tour this summer and people are obsessed, people are regarding her as the queen of rap. i feel she is getting the human respect she and everyone always deserve and also loving her even more than they already did.

so in my opinion yes Megan is the queen of rap and has been for a long time, with all her records and original music and concepts, she blows Nickis latest releases and reliant on samples.Shes the future of rap and music.
