Recently i'd been watching a brand new episode of the Just Trish podcast with Brooke Schofield as a guest,  intrigued to see the reception, i looked at the responses on the video. Scrolling to the comment section, i found a sea of positivity and I've noticed that tread in response to her for a while now.

You may be asking why I'm writing or even care that people like Trisha, however over recent years shes been a vastly controversial figure in modern media, in my opinion she wasn't treated as a person, more of a society chosen villain. However now days its completely changed (for the better).

Trisha Pastas is an OG controversial YouTuber whom started her channel in 2007. For many years she was well known for her drug infused emotional wreck videos where she would come out as a chicken nugget or question if dogs had brains, she was also heavily scrutinized for how she would act in her public relationships as of her very 'crazy' and 'bizzar' behaviors. In hindsight the audience knows that many of these incidents were as a result of untreated mental issues and drug binges.

Never the less, how the media treated her was truly outrageous, no person, friend or company (which was profiting off her meltdowns) stepped in to help or be there. one cancellation inperticual which i want to touch on is her most controversial to date, her coming out video.

The video began with Trisha Paytas sat on her stylish apartment kitchen floor, there she explained her feelings of feeling like a transgender man, in the video it was clear to me that she was very confused and just filled to the brim with intense identity issues, however not for the rest of the viewers, they dislike bombed her video and left nasty and constructive comments, it felt as if nobody wanted to listen to her or understand her, merely painting her as a 'transphobe'.The community rejected her, they did not 'educate' her or stand with her in this troubling time she was obviously going through, so much so that she apologized for making the video in the first place.

*more recently shes come out and explained the video with licensed therapist Dr Drew, it was taken well and seen by a lot of people as genuine, she told Drew that she had gender struggles but didn't know too much, effectively what she said was very similar to her original Trans video she had to apologize for*

It's crazy how in our modern day 'woke' world that they would tear a young woman down like that, all anyone, and her self, can say is that drug abuse and other mental issues is not an excuse for her behavior, and yes these factors aren't always an excuse for offensive or harmful actions but i see it as Trisha, today, is a reformed woman with a wonderful house and family who cares for her, she has gotten help for her mental health issues and has completely gotten over her drug use since her overdose in 2021. With that she not entered controversial behavior or offensive dangerous actions, therefore i have come to the conclusion that her issues was an excuse and wasn't her in her true self and state of mind.

This piece is very bias as i do adore Trisha Paytas but also i think its interesting and insightful to question why she is all of a sudden treated differently and why no body stepped in when she was having multiple breakdowns online.
